Hellraiser 1 is a fantastic movie about lust and violence, it's not outright scary but it's definitely horrific (if that makes sense?). Fantastic watch.
Also the best Hellraiser movie by a country mile.
It's so wildly fun, there's not much else to say. It's just a lot of fun and I love Ash's character here. I wont lie Ash carries it here but that's fine because it's great!
Quite possibly my favourite movie of all time. It's such a fantastic movie and serves as the best example of a psychological horror movie. It's emotional and it's horrifying, it's well acted and you can never get a read out on what's happening fully. That's a good thing!
I like this for alot! It spears the entertainment industry in such a compelling and pointed way. The psychological elements are soo good in this! That twist genuinely caught me off guard but the more I think about it the more well set-up I feel it is.
This is a REALLY good film, It's so compelling! I love love love the plot of this film. I like it a lot!
It's Ash at his Ashiest! This could've easily been a disaster but it pulls everything off so well, it is the most fun movie I have ever witnessed.
Gothic horror quite possibly at it's finest; it's off-putting, tense and horrifically lustful. Every actor is on their A game and Robert Egger's cinematography is glorious.
An incredible comedy-horror. It's got all the pros of a 1980s horror flick; fun practical effects, hammy acting but without taking itself completely serious. I can't fully describe in words why I like this but I do and it's good!
Quite possibly my favourite game of all time, it is a triumph of atmosphere, narrative, music, characters. Pretty much everything.
The remake is also fantastic, the face acting is near breathtaking at times. Play this game basically.
Devil May Cry 3 has the best story in the series and properly fleshed out Dante as a sympathetic protagonist. Though I don't think it has the best gameplay, it definitely has the best story.
If you're at all interested in the franchise try Dmc 3 out, it's a great time!
I think Silent Hill 2 is the better game but Outlast is scarier while you're playing it. No joke it is the scariest experience I have ever had in a game.
I have to hype myself up everytime I play it because it's so pants-shittingly scary
It is the best game of all time frankly; it has the best writing, most fleshed out world, tragic characters, funny dialogue.
The company that currently sells it has stolen it from the original creator, so pirate it or use CD Keys.
T'is the best Guilty Gear, do not @ me.
Best roster and frankly the roster makes or breaks Guilty Gear for me, omitting Robo-Ky and Zappa from future entries was criminal
Dude it's like a playable ENA episode, what else really needs to be said?
It's got the best extra mode in any game ever, sneaky gamer is the shit. It's like Freddy Fazebear meets Wario, it's so good!!
I think it's the next best Silent Hill, it's got a lot of cool ideas and Cheryl's story is probably the best of the lore focused Silent Hills.
I know a lot of dmc fans don't like this one but it's genuinely a good series. There's nothing wrong with a reimagining of a classic gaming franchise, especially when it keeps the core elements of dmc intact. Great ost & great action!
The best thing to come out of the MCU and the best adaptation of a marvel character outside of Raimi's Spidey series. It's a really solid adaptation of Daredevil as a character, I wish it was less scared of the whacky aspects of DD though.
It's such a fun series. It's so fun dude! Love the characters and I loved what it added to the lore, it was taken too soon and I pray that Evil Dead animated series follows from the cliff hanger. Definitely support this show!
Giving more agency to Ramona makes this story better than the movie, you just get more out of the characters if Ramona is the emotional core of the story. Don't really like how Scott is handled but its really fun anyway.
It's worth it I swear!!!
It's got great characters and such an interesting plot. It's such a unique story, it's confrontational and avant-garde. It's a parody of battle shonen but the parody doesn't consume the characters and dynamics completely, it's such a layered piece of art.
It's like someone made a comedy just for me, I never heard people talk about this so Im surprised that there was so much seasons and all. It's a lovely oddity in western adult animation, it's got an interesting story and world while still being uproariously funny. Highly reccomend.
It's got great animation, it's really funny and it's characters are sympathetic. It's really got everything! Must watch for anyone with a soul.
Hellboy is such a great series, on some days I consider it my favourite comic but there's so much good stuff out there I go back and forth. Great art, writing, themes and characters. I love it!
Saga of Swamp Thing is quite possibly one of the best things DC has ever came out with. Alan Moore's writing is chef's kiss. The way he describes everything is beautiful even when they're literally in hell.
Absolute Martian Manhunter is my favourite ongoing right now. It's psychadelic, well written and thoroughly gripping. Deniz Camp is my favourite writer right now, read my league of comic geeks posts for more info.
Hickman's Fantastic Four is legendary for a reason. It is THE Fantastic Four run. Hickman applies this awesome mythological sincerity to any superhero he writes. Just a legendary writer and series.
Apparently Tom King as a writer is inconsistent quality wise but his work in Superman: Up in the sky is excellent. It's the perfect Superman story for beginners and a perfect Superman story all around!
It is THE Superman story, but not the first you should read. It is a celebration of Supes, you can enjoy it no matter what but you enjoy it the more Superman comics you read. Highly recommend! Just hold off for a bit if you don't know a lot about Supes
T'is my favourite Justice League run. It's got a great team lineup, It's just a really fun team book! I even love when it finds itself inbetween event issues so Superman just turns blue in the middle of the run lmao.
It is a character defining run, often I can't get into older books just cause of how wordy it is but Claremonts writing often transcends that. There is some sketchy stuff, in fact there's some outright shitty stuff. Most of the time the character writing is genuinely interesting and compelling.
